Places to Visit

The beautiful market town of Petworth, a centre for arts and culture is  just under 2 miles away.  Spend a day looking around Petworth House, antique shops and a enjoy a quiet lunch.

The city of Chichester is 11 miles away with its wide range of shops, restaurants, Cathedral and of course Chichester Festival Theatre.

Both Goodwood Racecourse, Motor Circuit and House are 7 - 8 miles away across the South Downs.  A perfect place to stay for the many events they hold.

The historic market town of Midhurst holds a unique position at the heart of the South Downs National Park. Plenty of shops and restaurants and  Cowdray Park for polo.

A pretty little village at the bottom of the Downs, with a  pottery, tea room, Castle and Chalk Pit Museum  are well worth a visit.

Just to thank you all for the wonderful, friendly and efficient service we received when we stayed with you. The experience of staying in a converted Pullman carriage together with the delightful afternoon tea we had on arrival and the lovely breakfast we ate this morning (and both were delicious) made for a memorable stay.  In these difficult surreal times it is "the art of making things possible" that truly makes a difference to people and the team at The Old Railway Station have achieved this and more.
