Our Rooms

We have ten rooms in total - two in The Station House and eight in the Pullman Carriages. 


All rooms are en-suite and come with breakfast. 


There are TVs, Tea and Coffee making facilities and wi-fi in all rooms.

We have made an effort to remove single use plastic from the rooms

by providing fresh water in glass bottles and toiletries in biodegradable packs.

Station House

One of our larger rooms, this room has Access Level 3 for those with slightly restricted mobility. 

The en-suite has a large walk in shower and the bed is a super king size or can be made up as a twin.

Station House Upper Room
Station House Upper

The Station House Upper Room is our largest room.  It has a Super King size bed and can be twinned.  The room is approached by a spiral staircase and is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.  The en-suite bathroom has a walk in shower


This is the only room that we can also add an addition bed to sleep three, for an additional fee.

Pullman Carriages

King Pullman Rooms

We have two large King Pullman rooms, both with king size beds. 

The large en-suite has both a shower and a bath - pure luxury.

Standard Pullman Rooms

We have six Standard Pullman rooms, all have either double or king size beds.  The en-suite has a shower over bath..

All rooms are per room per night.   

We can only accommodate 2 people in a carriage room.

Sorry, we cannot accommodate children under 10 years old overnight.  

Although we do love dogs, we cannot accommodate them inside the building or carriages or overnight. 

Assistance dogs are welcome

Check in is from 3pm - 6pm 

We close at 6.30pm

We can offer a late check in - please let us know if you need to check in later than 6:30pm

Check out is by 11am

We are unable to offer early check-ins and late checks out as we need to ensure rooms are thoroughly cleaned.

Cancellation Policy for Rooms at The Old Railway Station


We request a deposit of 50% of the full amount for all reservations made before 14 days of arrival.  For bookings made within 14 days of arrival 100% of the room rate is required.

Cancellations received within 14 days of your intended arrival,

will incur a charge of 100% of the outstanding amount.


More than 3 rooms are booked on a non-refundable basis

more than 6 room will incur a 10% surcharge. 

Covid 19

If we are unable to honour you booking due to Government restrictions i.e. a local or national lockdown, then you will be entitled to a full refund or you are welcome to postpone your stay.

All other personal reasons which may mean you are unable to stay with us will now come under our 14 day no cancellation policy.

We therefore strongly recommend taking out insurance which will indemnify guests against financial loss.  


When buying insurance for any holiday, look out for cover for cancellation, travel disruption, medical treatment and illness including Covid 19.

If you're unsure if you're getting the right cover, call the insurer first.

In law, a hotel has the right to be reimbursed for any loss caused by cancellation. 

The Old Railway Station reserves the right to amend its terms and conditions without notice.

Any rooms sold under a discounted rate are non-transferable or refundable.
